Quality Maintenance Rituals
URIAH I wanted to spend some quality time with uriah and also cut his hair but all he wanted to do was watch TV. Getting to know him at this age is fun. The conversation is different than the ones we used to have. I interviewed a mom and her 6 kids who all have their own kids now. Each of the 6 kids talked about how their favorite memory of their mother was spending 1 on 1 time with her. Even though it was rare it was valued. My concern having another child at this point is that those 1 on 1 moments will be harder to create. because the family is growing. So when we have the time we use it, TV will always be there but I may not be. THEO I usually never have to worry about what Theo is thinking because he's always speaking his mind, I love that. Him and I have a relationship that is very friendly but respectful at times. Nowadays i'm trying to make sure he understands what respecting elders looks like. His name is Theophilus which translate to Friend/Lover Of God. He is that good friend that everyone wants to be around, sometimes he mistakes my friends for his friends. He's that kids that's always in grown folks business. The equation that we must solve is... how to turn his inquisitiveness into a desire to learn things. Today on #BeleafInFatherhood We went to #Seattle in the middle of October for the Heavy Artistry Event. Uriah spent the whole night trying to fight his sleep. While Anaya was jamming to all the tunes as usual, Yvette and I were connecting with some supporters in the area. The next day we went up to #FranklinFalls and Hiked for couple hours through the forest! It was beautiful. The air was fresh and the kids loved it. The waterfall made it all worth it. Today on Beleaf in Fatherhood We find out what happened to the Chocolate Babies Candy! http://kck.st/2Rb92t9 I've noticed that there is a huge hole when it comes to children's content on Youtube.. Most of the content is used a distraction so parents can accomplish a simple task. Some of it is educational but low-quality and a lot of the music is just simply whack! As a Full-Time Visual Story Teller I make thought provoking videos that have been strengthening Fathers and Giving Hope to Mothers for the past 3 years. Now I want to branch out and create High Quality Educational Content That Inspires Children through the use of Puppeteering and HipHop. Frank Puppet has been a project that I have investing in for about a year. I have tried to do it alone and I have failed. In order to make the content that I believe will speak to the Black and Minority children who are granted access to Youtube (which is a while Lot) I need your help! I'm raising $75,000 to Hire the people I need and build sets to make at least 26 episodes of high-quality educational entertainment for the minority community. 1st Day of homeschool was an eventful one. My Champion (Yvette Henry) has been killing It Breastfeeding one and teaching the other two! She is amazing beyond measure!
